Joaquin Tuculet was able to make a score of a double in the first half of the game after Nicolas Sanchez opened. With Blaine Scully touching down from a fly-half AJ MacGinty’s hit, the team was able to respond before the break.

The team’s center, Juan Cruz Mallia, twice crossed to establish Argentina’s gameplay in the second half of the game, with Jeronimo De La Fuente and Gonzalo Bertranou scoring. Paul Lasike was able to respond with a fair try, and Scully added a third score for the US team, who finished their game against Tonga on Sunday.

As the third team finishing in the pool stages in Japan, the team can now take a breath of relief as they now place in the World Cup due to take place in France in the next four years.
