The Duchess of Sussex is collaborating with Marks & Spencer on a capsule clothing collection
To launch a capsule clothing collection in aid of charity, the Duchess of Sussex is collaborating with Marks & Spencer and we could not be more excited.
Meghan will be partnering with various retailers, including M&S, for creating a small workwear series to increase money for Smart Works.
A reason close to the Duchess’ heart, she is a royal supporter of the charity, Smart Works helps weak women secure employment by providing them coaching and clothing.
As reported, Meghan will also be working Jigsaw, John Lewis & Partners as well as the designer brand Misha Nonoo on the collection.
Later this week in September, the Duchess is set to disclose the news matter of British Vogue, which she has guest-edited.
Verifying news of the partnership to Good Housekeeping UK, an M&S spokesperson said, ‘Marks & Spencer is excited and proud to be involved in this sole capsule collection as part of our constant work with Smart Works. ‘We look ahead to share more information with our patrons in due course.
At present, while we know little about the collection, later this year, it will reportedly be released and will work on a ‘like for like’ basis, whereby one item of clothing will be provided to Smart Works for each sale made.
We cannot remain to see what workwear range of Meghan will look like!
Earlier the Duchess has shown she’s a fan of M&S by wearing numerous of the high street brand’s pieces.
With Prince Harry, during one of her first appearances, she stepped out in a Marks & Spencer jumper, whereas at the Royal Albert Hall last November the Duchess also wore a black cocktail dress by the brand.
